What medicine should I take to preserve my voice and kept me from loosing it whenever I teach..?
Answer:
Tincture of mullein in water. Tea with honey. These will help, but rest is best.PS Since as a teacher you talk for a living, it might be worth finding a voice coach who could help you project without straining.
The only cure for laryngitis is rest. Theres no medicince you can take, and why would you want to take medication unless medically necessary anyway? You just need to rest your voice between things is all.
There is really no medicine for your voice but Drink healthy and stay away from food that cuases sore throats and heart burns and ask your doctor for a pill for your eroded espaphoguese( throat )
there is no pills.but there is one way to keep your voice good.that keep 1 elaichi on your tongue and drink very chilled water over that.try it.
Acetyl L-Carnitine has definitely made my voice stronger and Melatonin at night has helped me recover from laryngitis faster than otherwise.Acetyl L-Carnitine also gives you energy and is actually good for you. Melatonin is a natural sleep aid and overall health enhancer but too much can cause overactive dreams. A liquid melatonin makes it easier to adjust your dose.
Good luck!
Actually you might try a voice coach. If you are not using your diaphragm correctly, as in singing, your voice will strain and weaken. Your coach can help with exercises and any medicines that might be useful.
