When and where is the best spot to collect shrooms and what should i clean them off with??

I live next to a cow farm where theres lots of cow piles and manuere. .
Answer:
If you're looking for psilocybin mushrooms, you're in the right place. They grow *in* cow manure piles. The best time to hunt them is shortly after a rainshower. Be sure you know what you're looking for, tho. Not all cow piles will produce shrooms. I have heard that the mushroom prefers cow piles from cows that are fed a certain diet. Don't know if it's true, and don't know what that diet is. :)Rinse approx. 1 lb. mushrooms well in cold water. Trim off nasty bottoms. Put in large saucepan with enuf water to cover them. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer until most of the water is gone, and what water is left is very black. DO NOT STRAIN remaining bit of water. Add about 1-2 cups of honey to your shroom stew, mix very well. (The honey improves the taste) Allow to cool.1 or 2 teaspoons of this recipe will keep one person tripping for several hours. It's very strong and condensed at this point, so be careful with your dosing.
im not sure but dont eat the red ones
Get a mushroom brush - it is very gentle and won't break the mushrooms. You can get it at a grocery store. The best place to get mushrooms spores is from a reputable smartshop.
haha u pick them from the cow pasture
if u knew that why were u asking
collect them from the produce department in your local grocery store. Unless you are very studied in various mushrooms, you run a serious risk of picking poison mushrooms and possible death
Clean dirty mushrooms with a damp cloth
I can almost guarantee you that you can find some goldtops or some blue moonies in the cow crap. But you're going to have to get your hands dirty. But no worries, mate, it's worth it. Clean them off with cold water, not hot. No soap or anything, just a little bit of cold water. And have fun, I'd be glad to answer any other questions.
I would be more worried about the mushrooms being edible. Are you very knowledgeble about mushroom varieties that grow in your area? Many edible mushrooms have very similar looking, highly poisonous counterparts, so be very, very careful. As for cleaning, the "gourmet" advise is to clean mushrooms with only a damp rag, but if they are very dirty you may have to rinse in cold water.
